No matter what business you want to pursue, it has its pros and cons. As they say, every coin has two sides. The early days of business are always tough. Mainly because most entrepreneurs fail due to mundane things they learn in high school. They get into debt because they forget to pay their health and social insurance, which is required by law. And so, even before they really get started, they’re up to their ears in debt and often end up quitting their business. Another important step is obtaining a trade license. This can be for a secondary or primary business activity. With a trade license for a secondary business, you don’t have to pay for health insurance yourself, but it’s more like a part-time job. This is because it’s based on annual earnings. And now for the plan!

Business Plan
This plan should then show you whether your business venture is worth it.

Instructions for the business plan:

• Open a text editor, or grab a pen
and paper • Think about what kind of business you want to run
• Give it a name, e.g., “In-Home Massage
Therapist” • List all the equipment, etc. Then find a specific
supplier online• Next, find your products and write down the approximate price at which you’ll purchase them•
Include the cost of obtaining a business license (approx. 1,000 CZK
)•            Next, write down where you’ll get the funds for
your business• How long it will take you
to pay it off• Who your competition is and how you’ll deal
with them• Then, how you’ll secure clients or how you see your orders—
in terms of pricing• Next, make a logical estimate of how much you can earn if…
•            Try to calculate the difference between your business profits and your
expenses• Will it pay off? Do your expenses exceed your income? You’d better think it over again!
